Dental Bridges
WHAT ARE DENTAL BRIDGES?
Missing one or more teeth can impact more than just your appearance; it can also lead to your remaining teeth shifting out of alignment. This misalignment can result in added pressure while biting, discomfort during chewing, and even difficulties with speech. A dental bridge can restore both the look and function of your smile by filling these gaps with a false tooth supported by dental implants, natural teeth, or a combination of both. At Cedar House Family Dentistry, our skilled dentist provides custom-made bridges using high-quality materials to help restore your beautiful smile. If you're missing teeth, schedule a consultation to explore your options for a custom bridge restoration.

WHAT TO EXPECT WITH DENTAL BRIDGES
For a dental bridge to be effective, the surrounding teeth must be strong enough to support the restoration, along with having good jawbone density and healthy gums. During your initial appointment at Cedar House Family Dentistry, a comprehensive examination will be conducted, and 3D oral impressions will be taken to create your bridge. If necessary, a temporary bridge can be provided while your custom restoration is being fabricated. Once your dental bridge is ready, local anesthesia will be administered to numb the area, and the bridge will either be cemented in place or attached to dental implants. Your dentist will make any necessary adjustments to ensure a comfortable bite and a secure fit. After the bridge is installed, you should experience improved functionality and appearance of your teeth.
